Apparently, I wasn't supposed to let Wesley lead the others to a boulder perched high above the valley floor. And I certainly wasn't supposed to encourage the "fun" by taking a picture of it.
In my defense, it's only a 30- or 40-foot drop to the rocks immediately below and he's a pretty resilient kid. (Also, he was having a blast playing "I Spy" with the other kids.)
