"Hello, Pomelo!"

The pomelo is the largest of the citrus fruits, with a thick yellow skin and bitter pulp that resembles grapefruit in flavor.

Wesley thought it looked like a giant ball. Phoebe could only throw hers about 3 feet -- just far enough to hit the woman pushing the cart next to ours.

Are You Ready to Rock? (No, Really... Are You Ready?)

'Cause I'm not. Words can't describe, etc. Here are Wesley and Phoebe, jamming, rehearsing, getting ready for the next gig. Total improv, in case you can't tell...

Just let the next 1 min 43 sec wash over you like the art that it is...

Picture of Wesley on "The Web!"

...actually, on *his* web! Yes, this costume has "legs" (and that's not just "spin"!). Ugh. Sorry. Too much candy is making me way too punny.

Thanks to the industrious creativity of his Mom, Wesley is an amazing spider, man. This home-made costume will be shown off at today's Lanai Road Elementary Halloween Parade -- and around our zip code on Halloween night.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of our "green" exterminator, Wesley probably isn't even the biggest spider in our house these days.

Happy Halloween -- stay tuned for Phoebe-the-Cat shots in a few days!

Wes & Phoebe in the pool!

I don't ever want to hear any griping that they didn't have a PRIVILEGED upbringing.

Here they are frolicking in the pool...

Dancing To Her Own Tune...

Phoebe dances every day. Yesterday was this (period ballet of some kind). This morning was groovin', freestylin' something or other, then tap. And more tap. And then, some more tap, etc....

Shortstop! (But getting taller...)

When Midvalley Little League made Wesley an "Angel," well... they have quite a sense of humor, eh?

At this level of play (t-ball), "defense" consists of the entire team chasing after any ball hit onto the field. One smiling player emerges from the scrum with the ball held high in triumph. The others, angry and frustrated, look on as this triumphant one eventually tosses/rolls the ball in the general direction of 1st base/the parking lot.

The team that's batting sends every player to the plate every inning. The undersized bodies and oversized batting helmets make every player look a little top heavy. Everyone gets a base hit except the last batter -- who invariably hits a grand slam home run.

Thus, Wesley is batting 1.000 and has hit numerous home runs. But, as you can see in this photo, he's still a total ham and very down to earth. (For an Angel...)
